The CLV61x fixed-mount barcode scanner impresses with its compact design and can be easily integrated even in confined spaces. A wide range of communication interfaces enables the scanner to be used in numerous applications. For example, the integrated CAN bus connects several fixed-mount barcode scanners to a system. In intralogistics, the CLV61x is always the ideal choice: whether as a dual-port version with two integrated PROFINET interfaces or with corresponding connection technology, such as the CDF600 fieldbus module or IO-Link Master. The different product variants ensure flexible connection to all common fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet interfaces. This allows the CLV61x to be configured directly in the control environment.

The advantages of the CLV61x are clear: compact housing and flexible connection to all common fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet interfaces. This also makes it easier to connect sensors that trigger the reading process, such as photoelectric sensors.

The CLV61x is compatible with all common interfaces and thus offers great flexibility for integration into the control environment. Linear and ring topologies can be easily implemented without excessive wiring effort. The latter operate redundantly and ensure high system throughput. Depending on the version, the CLV61x has an integrated communication interface or an external communication interface via a connection module.

With SMART620 code reconstruction, even damaged, dirty and partially obscured barcodes can be read reliably. Even codes with a twist of up to 30° can be detected accurately.

Provides a thoughtful solution for challenging reading conditions
In intralogistics, the demands on machine design are becoming increasingly stringent. Too little space, difficult access to installed equipment or large temperature fluctuations – the CLV61x can handle all of these situations.
(1) No additional wiring required: Power and trigger solution (ASi PWR)
The CLV61x with dual ports can use existing Asi cables for voltage supply. This significantly reduces the wiring effort. Since no external connection modules are required, this solution saves time and costs during provisioning and operation.
(2) Despite ambient temperature fluctuations
In order to operate reliably and safely even in freezing environments down to –35 °C, the CLV61x is equipped with an integrated heating unit, depending on the device type. The fixed-mount barcode scanner requires neither additional installation space nor additional wiring for the heating unit.
(3) Rotating plug unit for easy operation
The swivel plug unit of the CLV61x is equipped with a double port, which allows flexible alignment of the sensor and thus facilitates installation and integration into the network, even under very difficult installation conditions.
