IST development history:
1991 IST AG is founded in Wattwil, Switzerland, and enters the sensor market through the manufacture and sale of nickel temperature sensors.
1993 Opening of the assembly plant in Roznov Podhostem, Czech Republic. First development of flow sensors.
2004 Development and production of conductivity sensors and humidity modules for the first time.
2005 The Endress+Hauser Group acquires IST AG.
2006 Established a 100% subsidiary in Las Vegas, USA.
2012 Move of IST AG headquarters from Wattwil to custom-built premises in Ebnat-Kappel, Switzerland.
2015 Acquisition of Jobst Technologies GmbH in Freiburg, Germany, opening of sales offices in Shanghai, China and Purak, Czech Republic.
2019 IST AG moves into its expanded headquarters.
2020 IST AG acquires AJ Innuscreen, a life science company based in Berlin, Germany, and changes its name to IST Innuscreen GmbH.
2022 Infrasolid GmbH, based in Dresden, Germany, becomes part of the IST Group.
IST in China
The Shanghai office has been a strategic location for IST since its opening in 2015. The Shanghai sales office has been providing technical support and on-site consultation to local and regional customers in both Chinese and English.
